JOSTENS' CHAMPIONSHIP EXPERIENCE

Begun in 1897 by Otto Josten, Jostens was originally a small jewelry and watch repair business located in Owatonna, Minnesota. In 1900 the founder began manufacturing emblems and awards for nearby schools and in 1906, the year of incorporation, Josten added class rings to his product line, to be sold to schools throughout the Midwest.  Over the years, Jostens, Inc. expanded both their product base and territory by adding graduation announcements, school diplomas, and yearbooks to the lineup.  Then in 1968 the company expanded into the Canadian photography market with the purchase of Winnipeg-based National School Studios. By this time Jostens was the undisputed domestic leader in both class ring and yearbook sales.

Today, Jostens, Inc. is best known as a manufacturer of high-quality class rings for high school and college students. Additionally, since 1960 the company also has produced specially commissioned championship rings for contestants in the World Series, the Super Bowl, the NBA Championship, the NHL Stanley Cup, and NASCAR.  And, most recently, Jostens announced its partnership with the Chicago Cubs and that it was named the Official Designer of the Chicago Cubs World Championship Ring. The Cubs actively worked with Jostens' design team and master jeweler to develop this historic championship ring - which was presented during the team's "ring ceremony game"  on April 12, 2017 at Wrigley Field.

Jostens Asia, controlled by NBES - an official Asia branch distributor and representative of Jostens, Inc - has begun plans to manufacture and sell official fan goods of professional teams in Japan.  Our first officially released product is a customized watch commemorating Hanshin Tigers' Takashi Toritani's 2,000th career hit.  It is our hope to continue to introduce such new products to the Japanese market in order to enhance the profitability of the Japanese sports teams by heightening the experience and dedication of the fans and creating closer ties between the fans, players, and teams.
